The Snug is a 1 to 2-person traditional sauna that offers an authentic Finnish sauna bathing experience.  With a simple set-up and operation, this unit is an ideal addition to any home. Using a specially Finnish-designed 3KW Stove heater along with lava stones the user can control the heat and humidity of the sauna with the simple turn of a switch and the addition of water.

Materials - 100% Canadian hemlock wood. 3KW stove and 15kg of thermal lava stones.

Accessories: Sandtimer, thermometer, light, casket, spoon

Dimensions - Compact design for maximum efficiency1.2m x 1.1m x 1.9m high (47” x 43” x 75”)

Power Usage - 3KW per hour (at the time of writing the average cost of electricity per kWh in the UK is 14.37p - Source ukpower.co.uk) Meaning a 1 hour session (heat up time + 2 x 15m sessions) will cost 43.11p.

1 to 2 Person Sauna - Some bathers find it is more comfortable to use as a single person sauna.

Simple Installation - snap lock design. Screw in electrical connections.

Power - UK and Ireland

The snug must be hard-wired on its own circuit. It is supplied with a 3 pin plug for temporary supply/testing - this is to be removed and hard-wired. In the UK and Ireland, the declared voltage and tolerance for an electricity supply is 230 volts -6%, +10%. This gives an allowed voltage range of 216.2 volts to 253.0 volts. Based on this the amp range on the snug sauna is 11.86 - 13.88. 

UK domestic plugs have a limit of 13a. 3000KW is the maximum load for a plug. If in doubt please contact an electrician.

Shipping - the saunas ship on a double pallet. Deliveries are kerbside only. Pallet delivery drivers are not insured to carry products into your property. You must arrange for someone to be on site to get the goods inside to a safe place. You should contact our courier on the morning of delivery for an ETA on 02828262190. Keep your phone on in case the driver has difficulty finding you. Unsuccessful deliveries and redeliveries will be charged.

Lead time - Saunas will be dispatched the following day from order. Saunas should be delivered within 1-3 days. During the Christmas period deliveries may take a little longer.

All of our saunas are made of prefabricated panels. If you wish to install the sauna upstairs, ensure the largest panel will fit.
